Enterprise By Design 2013 has kicked off again for the 4th year running! This project puts together interdisciplinary groups of students to create a product based on a real world brief. They then pitch it to the company for a chance to win £2500, £1000 or £500. They will also have the opportunity to take these ideas further into actual products if they’re viable.

As part of this, each team works with a post-graduate facilitator. These facilitators are there to help the team develop over the course of the 8 week program, and help them to successfully work to develop a product.

This is an opportunity for post-graduate students to learn about facilitation and team working.  I’m working with Chris Walker, of People Systems International,  to help them learn these skills and express how they find it. Each student is asked to keep a blog about their experiences and what they learn. It’s hoped that we can develop this into a masters module on facilitation.

Please, take a look at what our students are learning and discovering, and don’t hesitate to add your own comments.
